Established in the year 1997, Kendriya Vidyalaya Bijapur is
situated in the historical city of Bijapur. The Vidyalaya is a CIVIL SECTOR
School sponsored by the Government of Karnataka. The Vidyalaya has classes from
I to Class XI for the academic year 2010-11.
The Vidyalaya has a pupils strength of 759 and staff strength of 32. The
Vidyalaya has a spacious campus with a permanent building and all the
infrastructural facilities. The Vidyalaya has produced 100% results in Class X
CBSE examinations thus mirroring the very essence of teaching and learning
process. Under the able guidance of Principal Smt. B. N. Sharadamani and a staff
with unprecedented level of commitment, the school is marching ahead towards
excellence.
